Thyme tea is a restorative herbal tea made with just boiling water and fresh thyme!
Thyme's properties help it work as an expectorant (which means it helps to irritate and bring 'things' up, like stuck phlegm or mucus). It also works as a spasmolytic which means it can help with coughing fits and help to calm the respiratory muscles (really helpful for those that suffer from asthma as well).
Shelf Life : 24 Months
Storage : keep sealed and store in a cool and dry place.
Place of Origin : China
Brewing Guide:
1. Water temperature : 203°F ~ 212°F (90°C ~ 100°C)
2. Ratio of tea to water : 1:100, 2grams tea with 200ml water
3. Steep Time : steep for 3-5 minutes. And that's it. Enjoy your tea!
4. Number of Infusions : 1-3 infusions
When you get down to about one quarter of the tea remaining, refill with hot water of the same temperature as before and let it steep for 30 seconds to one minute.Increase the steeping time 30 seconds to one minute for each infusion.
