Description
The root of the licorice plant has been used medicinally for thousands of years.  Chinese medicine has long used licorice root to treat many ailments, including gastrointestinal problems, malaria, insomnia, and infections.
Licorice root is often used as a sweetener in beverages, candy, and medicine.  It is 50 times sweeter than sugar but provides health benefits that sugar does not.  Licorice root contains over 300 chemical compounds and flavonoids.

This pleasantly caffeine-free infusion makes it a natural treat of bliss perfect for any time of the day.

Recommended Preparation
1. Water temperature : 90°C (194°F)
2. Ratio of tea to water : 1:50, 2grams tea with 100ml water
3. Brew time: 3 minutes
When you get down to about one quarter of the tea remaining, refill with hot water of the same temperature as before and let it steep for 30 seconds to one minute.
You can get 2-3 infusions. Increase the steeping time 30 seconds to one minute for each infusion. How many infusions you do depends entirely on your taste.
